First Aid Training Course accreditation in the UK: Currently first aid at work and appointed person training are prescribed and regulated solely by the HSE, although several ambulance services and awarding bodies might be perceived play a significant role, regulation and standards are indeed an HSE matter The HSE does currently stipulate that providers follow UK resuscitation council guidelines during training.
